Country Woods has grown to be a well-respected importer of exotic hardwoods.
Country Woods' customers include shopfitters, cabinetmakers, joinery manufacturers, furniture, kitchen and pub manufacturers, wood turners and carvers, yacht and deck builders and hobbyists.
Over 70 species of imported and African timbers are stored in our warehouses which are also our showrooms, so customers can inspect and select the timber they want to buy off the racks themselves.
Country Woods has machining facilities at all premises - customers can choose from a minimum of 1 plank which can be planed, ripped and thicknessed while they wait.
Kiln drying facilities exist at our Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg operations - African timbers are brought in wet-off-saw and kiln dried to customer's requirements.
