A friendly welcome from the owner who also made our delicious breakfast every day. Clean and comfortable with Dstv and Wi-Fi. Walking distance from the shops and restaurants. A big plus for us was the braai facility and lapa area because we didn't feel like eating out each evening.

You are invited to experience tranquil living at the beautifully restored John Montagu, only 2 hours drive from either Cape Town or Oudtshoorn - an ideal retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life and in the fruit and wine bowl of the Cape. Centrally situated in a quiet street in the picturesque town of Montagu, it comprises five luxury en suite bedrooms each uniquely decorated .

Montagu is surrounded by the magnificent panorama of the Langeberg mountains and is world famous for its healing hot mineral springs, historic buildings, tractor rides to the summit of the Langeberg mountains (1550m above sea level), hiking trails and muscadel wines. The house is easy walking distance to restaurants and our historic village. Off-street parking, swimming pool.
