The Spies family opened this lodge on 12 April 1995 and still going strong… This beautiful Lodge offers an option of Bed & Breakfast (B&B) or Self Catering Accommodation Oudtshoorn for Families, Couples or Tour Groups. We are situated at the foothills of the Swartberg Mountains about 14km outside of Oudtshoorn on-route to Cango Caves on the R328. It is a working Ostrich Farm in season and also offers hunting in our mountains in season.

If you are lucky you can see the Fallow Deer and Waterfowl walking in front of the Self Catering Units and Restaurant at night where the Grobbelaars River flows. Friendly staff will welcome you and help plan your stay and activities. Every morning you can come and enjoy our highly acclaimed freshly prepared Breakfast! Then a meal at our A La Carte Restaurant is a must! We specialize in venison and ostrich.
