Married with three children. Earned a medical degree from the University of Kwazulu Natal. Completed his orthopaedic training at Nelson Mandela School of medicine. Specialising in shoulder and elbow problems with further interest in Sport Medicine.Awarded Fellowship with Shoulder and Elbow Surgery by the South African Shoulder Society in 2007.
