I received a High Court Application from Std Banks Attorneys to sell my property on auction as I was in substantial arrears. I felt helpless and had not a clue what to do next. I was harassed by the Banks agents for an entire week and was in a desperate situation as they wanted to repossess my car. I was about to voluntary surrender my car to the Bank when a colleague at work recommended I contact PMB DEBT COUNSELORS as they had assisted his sister who was in a similar situation. I was a bit sceptical even after having read these reviews and had second thoughts about going to this firm. I can however confirm that they have come to my rescue. Had I known of them earlier I would not have had my vehicle reposessed but at least my house is safe. I have no hesitation in recommending this firm.

I initially consulted with Mr. Mahomed about a year ago and did not pursue debt counselling because I did not want to be blacklisted. MR. Mahomed back then advised that he could not see any other way out for me. I did not take his advise and was also under pressure from my husband not to go that route because we still needed to apply for a loan for my daughter's University fees the following year. I was back at Mr. MAHOMEDS door a few months later when I received a Summons for my home loan. Fortunately for me Mr. Mahomed was very accommodating and has assisted me with the entire process of negotiating with the Bank's Attorneys. MR. MAHOMED also assisted me with my overdraft credit cards and loans all of which were 4 to 6 months in arrears. Don't listen to all the horror stories about debt counseling. I too was skeptical but recommend debt counseling as the only option if you are drowning in debt. Believe me another loan is not the solution. I have been down that road!!!
