Started in February 1993. In February 1994 I opened my own company B.D Systems.
My first 12 years in the IT field my time was mainly taken up with canvassing and the supply of computers, installation of software, setting up of dial up modems and emails. Did a great deal of repairs and servicing of computers and printers on site and training on different software programs.
The last 13 years we have concentrated mainly on the supply of printer cartridges and toners, both generics and originals. We opened a shop at Scottsville Mall called Cartridges and More in 2009 and were there for ten years. We also keep a small selection of 2nd hand books and novels for our customers that requested them.
We do not do refills and do not recommend it. The small amount one saves will eventually cost you in repairs or replacement of your printer. Most of the problems encountered when repairing and servicing of printers were caused through refills. There are a few of people that are happy with them but we stay away from doing it.
Also do computer and printer cables, HDMI's, SVGA, USB & RCA, Clover & Fig 8 Power Cables, Flash Drives, universal laptop chargers and a few other accessories including standard PC power supplies. We do not keep cases, motherboards, hard drives, CPU's, RAM nor UPS's in stock. These are normally delivered within a day or two if an order is placed.
We are a sole proprietor and have been VAT registered since 1995.
