Holburn Insurance Brokers was established on 1st March 1983. The business originally operated from the Union Club Building on the corner of Smith Street and Field Streets, in Durban, and consisted of John and Rob Burns, a father and son team.
John, an agronomist, and Rob, a Law Graduate, laid the foundations for the future growth of the business, which, today, still proudly retains many of the original clients at its core.
Holburn Insurance Brokers has continually evolved to meet the challenges of the changing times, and has achieved success with a diverse and dynamic combination of experience and youthful energy, well suited to the needs of the progressive South African Insurance environment.
