R&S Contracting Services cc was established in December 2002 with offices and workshop situated within the core trading precinct of New Germany just west of the Pinetown CBD, in KZN.
Roy Roux that has steered and nurtured the company since its inception in 2002. Roy has been self-employed since 1984 executing and managing various projects relating to the Building & Construction Industry. General Maintenance, Industrial & Domestic Roofing, Site refurbishments and preventative Building & Plumbing Maintenance, Airconditioning repairs, supply & installations etc.
Our core clients include BPSA, CHEVRON (Caltex SA) and various projects completed throughout the years for institutions such as the Department of Agriculture, Department of Water Affairs, Department of Public Works, Ithala Development and the private sector.
The above will confirm that enough experience and skill transfers have taken place between Roy & his staff. R&S employs +/- 19 permanent staff and has 4 fully equipped teams attending to work within Kwa Zulu Natal, Eastern Cape and the Southern Free State regions. All 4 teams are managed by Certified and trained Supervisors and are the Company’s responsible persons and 16.2 Appointee’s on all R&S sites. All R&S Supervisors are trained and certified Permit Issuers and Requesters and undergo yearly training and certification as required by the OHS Act and R&S’s clients. Roy has a very strong Safety background in the procedural requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Act 85 of 1993 and is committed to the proper management and implementation thereof.
