Used them to scan negatives I had already processed at Kodak on Rink Street. They charged me AGAIN for processing. The associate clearly did not know what he was doing and couldn't directly answer any of my questions. He then toldme that scanning to a cd would cost R70, when it clearly states R35 on their own price list under the 35mm heading. Upon contesting this, I was told that it just cost R70. Main issue is the scan quality is really poor. Compared to Kodak on Govan Mbeki, they only scan at 72dpi. Kodak on Govan Mbeki scans 380dpi and charges less. That's 6 times the quality. Also, the scans done at Sunridge Park Kodak leave a black bar on the left edge of the photos. This requires me to crop every scanned photo. The bar isn't straight, which means when I crop, I lose some of my image. I'll have to have these negatives scanned again somewhere else (or buy my own negatives scanner) to do that.
