Oryx Personnel and Associates was founded in 1 July 1996 by Francois Orton in Potchefstroom. Since then the business developed from a Sole Proprietor towards a Closed Corporation with a unique cluster of services and perspectives towards the Human Resource field in general.

On 1 January 2012 Du Toit Orton came on board. The historic bundle of services were extended and full time Psychometry-, Career Guidance- and Labour Law-functions were added. Oryx HR Solutions was created with Oryx Personnel as one division.

As part of the holistic approach towards serving both Employer and Employee we are still using our association model in which specific requests are directed to specific specialists within the associate’s group. We are regular receivers of the yearly PMI Awards on a Gold, Platinum and Diamond level.
