We have begun to compile a collection of small expandable house plans designed for those who have limited small budgets with which to start their projects. The idea is to provide flexible plans which include provisions for future expansion designed from the onset to be a functional aspect of the original layout. These plans include all structural provisions for adding on and building in stages without the usual disruption associated with renovations and additions.
We will also be providing adaptable garage/apartment and barn/apartment plans for small budgets geared toward those who wish to build the apartment first to live in while constructing the main home. These versatile apartments can later serve as guest quarters, in-law accommodations or rental units.

All construction plan sets in our small expandable house plan portfolio include very comprehensive construction drawings and detailed plan sheets. This extra clarity can provide substantial savings in construction cost. We also offer our small budget plans in full reverse; including written text (right reading), and this option is available for all our small expandable house plans.
