Thank you for contacting DERMINTIQUE I want to take the opportunity to introduce myself. I am Renzia Otto, and the owner of DERMINTIQUE. I am a qualified Somatologist and Permanent Makeup Technician. I also have a total of 13 years experience in the Clinical Research Industry, in which I’ve learned a lot about first time quality, client service and to underpromise but over-deliver. Therefore, I believe in using the best products in my salon and provide the best possible results and client service. I believe that you cannot expect the best results with a mediocre product and lack of knowledge. In the Permanent Makeup Industry in South Africa, there isn’t a lot of regulations and therefore anyone can basically do a PMU course and ask from R400 to R3000 for a Permanent Makeup procedure. We as PMU technicians try to educate clients out there to be very careful when choosing and trusting someone to perform a procedure on your FACE. Remember - you can’t just wipe off a set of bad brows or skew and uneven eyeliners. Remember not all qualifications are on the same standards. Training, skills, products, type of machine, type of microblades, after care and client service are all part of getting the best possible results. Look at before, after and HEALED pictures of someone’s work. Make sure there is consistency in regards to the results and remember every Technician has their own style. For all of this you will pay a price. Remember don’t go for cheap, since you may end up going for correction procedures which will in any way cost you additional money. I spend an average of 2.5 hours on my clients, since I am very precise and perfectionistic. I use Amiea pigments and the Linelle II machine from Amiea. Amiea is a German company and one of the great names in the industry. I also use the best available anesthetics on the market. The microblades I use is expensive and of best quality -
called the Midas microblades. These blades ensure that there is less trauma to the skin and healing is much faster. I also do Chemical Peels, Microneedling and Holistic Consultations related to overall Health & Beauty.
