Chris Fourie, a consulting engineer specializing in fluid Mechanics started the company in 1988, initially only doing designs & domestic LP gas installations in the Pretoria & Johannesburg area.
The demand for gas in domestic as well as Commercial applications increased to such a point that our company had to expand, and decided to go the franchise route, by duplicating our business model of excellence through training and expertise. Our country started expanding countrywide and started incorporating bigger domestic projects such as multi million rand houses with multiple appliances. We also started doing turnkey projects where we do bulk tank installations and supply gas through a reticulation network to houses in complexes.
We also install prepaid gas metering and Telemetry systems at houses and complexes. Gasline started during 2004 to do Industrial gas installations for laboratory factories and mining groups, doing gases such as Argon, Acetylene, CO2, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, etc. We are the biggest domestic gas installer group in the country and we are still expanding by setting up and training more franchised owners countrywide. We have supplied expert advice and installations to the industry for nearly 30 years and we are still going strong.
