Our Pilates Classes
You only have one body, and it is never too late to start taking proper care of it! Pilates can play a key role in your overall health and fitness. It not only helps to increase flexibility, but also improves your strength, coordination and muscle endurance.
At Studio Kinetic we present a unique form of Pilates that applies to our modern lifestyles. Our main objective is to ensure results that are based on your goals as well as the goals that we have for you so that you can transform your body into a healthy, strong, lean machine.
Not many people know that Pilates is an excellent form of rehabilitation. Believe us when we say that Pilates can literally change your life! Every exercise that is used in Pilates is focused on balancing all the muscles in the body and on strengthening the core.
Pilates also focuses on spinal and pelvic alignment, which is critical in getting the body to move the way it’s supposed to move in order to avoid injury. Pilates allows for flexibility in the rehabilitation process, which most conventional forms of physical therapy don’t allow for.
SWEAT Classes
Is your cholesterol or blood pressure out of control or do you have a family history of cardiovascular disease? If so, you should get moving. Literally. The minimum amount of cardiovascular exercise you should be doing is 30 minutes a day. If you do less than this, you are at risk of cardiovascular disease, high cholesterol and/or blood pressure, osteoporosis and obesity just to name a few. But let’s be honest, spending hours on the treadmill or stationary bike in the gym is not the most fun and exciting activity.
At Studio Kinetic we like to mix it up a bit. Our Sweat Classes are functional fitness classes that are fun and exciting, making your exercise routine enjoyable- It is a mix of different forms of exercise, including stepping, kettlebell workouts, theraband training and energetic rhythm cardio sessions. Now you wouldn’t need to come up with some excuse not to exercise- believe us, you wouldn’t want to miss your exercise sessions!
