The word Maweni means 'between the mountains'; the stone and thatch lodge is set amongst red ironstone mountains which offer inspiring views of the surrounding countryside with its dams and river below.
On offer are five luxurious and well-appointed en-suite chalets, nestled in the mountains on a game farm in the Queenstown district. The thatch and stone chalets are comfortably and elegantly furnished and include bar fridges, coffee and tea-making facilities, electric blankets and oil heaters for chilly winter nights. Each chalet has its own private veranda, equipped with chairs and a table.
We also offer a self catering lodge which sleeps up to 10 people.
The main lodge unit has a comfortable lounge and dining area. Guests will delight in delicious, home-cooked meals, comfortable accommodation, and some peace and quiet after a busy day in the bustle of the town. There is a large bar and a welcoming veranda. Guests can make use of the sparking pool, or relax in the garden. Delicious home-cooked dinners are available on request. Satelite television is available at the main lodge.
