The Abrimix treatment process feed water firstly passes through a Rotary screen to remove all solids > 1 mm. The screened water flows to a surge tank (partially buried in the ground) to absorb the variable discharge flow, the solids are discharged into a skip for eventual disposal. From the surge tank the water is pumped through the Abrimix technology into the

Abrimix SSF tank where the generated solids are allowed to separate.
In the pipe line feeding the Abrimix SSF tank the required identified reagents are added to assist with the solids agglomeration and further assisted by the injected compressed air to transport the solids to the surface for removal.

The following photo is of the waste discharge water separated solids concentrating on the surface of the Abrimix SSF tank and overflowing into the collection launder for discharge into a solids collection skip and eventual disposal.
