Rod Taylor has been doing language editing and proofreading of books, dissertations, theses, technical papers, academic articles for journals for more than 20 years. In that time he has edited more than 600 such documents in many different fields, including pharmaceutical, legal, financial, environmental, educational, hospitality and travel. He has worked with authors and small businesses as well as academic staff and students from a number of South African universities.
Rod has had more than 25 years’ experience in line management in the process and manufacturing industries from shop floor to board level, and from technical to marketing. He has been involved with communication training for 30 years and has been a full time professional language editor for 20 years. His background brings broad practical experience as well as theoretical knowledge into his editing work.
