We bought a new Turbo from Alpine Turbo for my VW Jetta and my husband fitted it for me on Saturday (just to add that my husband is a qualified VW motor vehicle technician and have worked on VW for 22 years). He immediately noticed that the Turbo is not working. He contacted Andy who said that it is not possible. My husband then had to remove the turbo again to take it to Andy. Andy then said he can only test it when it is in the vehicle. My husband had to put the broken turbo back in my car and take it to Andy. Even though it is broken, Andy thought of every excuse to not replace it for us even though it is under warranty. He gave us several options all not even related to the Turbo. He refuses to refund us or replace the turbo. It cost us almost R10k. The company is dishonest. This is the second turbo we buy from them in less than a year. The first one was noisy and eventually broke. He also had some excuses around that. I would never recommend doing business with this company ever.
