André Scholtz Accounting and Taxation Services was formed in January 2009. Having been a partner in a larger audit practice, Andre realised that he preferred working with owner managed companies, corporations and sole proprietors in the small to medium enterprises category. André also wanted to work closer with those clients on the tax side of their businesses.

André wanted to move away from auditing in order to assist clients with their businesses on a more current basis than dealing with totally historical information. This allowed him to become more involved in his clients’ businesses and to better understand their requirements. This has made him more flexible as he is not constrained by the rigid structures in a larger audit firm.
