I was at he Rivonia branch to buy a petticoat for my daughters dress.I was told by one of the consultant named Precious that they dont have her size and the ones they have are for wedding gowns. As I was leaving the shop,the manager ask if I was helped,I told him what I was looking for.He told me that they have them.I was suprised because a minute ago I was dismissed without even checking the storeroom to see if they have petticoats.Precious lacked basic sales skills,she's turning a potential customer away because she's lazy to check the store room.I wonder how many customers did she turn away.She lacks passion in what she does.I was wondering why they are downrated, now I found out why.I want to thank the manager who came to my rescue.

DON'T BUY FROM BRIDE AND CO!!!!! You've been warned, Bride and Co has zero flexibility and offers zero assistance. Their policies are absurd for bridal wear. Zero returns and refunds for any sale items (90% of their stock is on sale, all, the, time) so basically you need to 200% sure your body won't change, nothing will happen, covid wont hit your wedding, basically nothing must change because you will be stuck with a dress you will never wear. I have never once stated to be 100% in the right, however Bride and Co has since shown their true colours in the sense that they are not in the business of making dreams come true but rather they are more concerned with lying in their own pockets.

I wish there was a lower rating than 1 for the shop. I am getting married on Saturday.. Today is Thursday afternoon... My dress is still not ready! I spent over 7k, the lace in store was torn so they had to replace it. I was told it would be ready to collect on the 1st.. I had to call to confirm only then to be told it would only be ready on the 5th.. I called again to check and the Nikita helping me was not in (after she told me she would call). Spoke to Lameez, the Manager who told me it would be ready by today and I could come at 9am on the 7th. They have just called to say not only is it not ready, they can't find the lace to replace it so haven't even started on it yet!!!!! I have no idea if I will have a wedding dress by the 8th yet. Disgusting service is a massive understatement!! Stay far far away from this store if a stress free wedding is what you are looking for

My daughter got married on 13 April. I went to Bride and Co Brooklyn for suites for grandfathers and dresses for grandmothers. I spent close to R8000. The day we came to collect the one grandfather suit was too long (after fitting 2 weeks prior) The shirt button as requested had not been adjusted at all. The manageress at Brooklyn really treated us badly. She showed no interest. My dad has a built up shoe and it caused a problem with trousers. She did not even come look. A customer in shop came to advise me on what the best option. I left with suit and when I got home I found staples in the suit.A TREAT FOR the old people eventually caused such stress in my 82 year old dad's life. My husband and son rented suits in Boksburg Bride and Co. My son's suit was missing a button and he was forced to wear it like that to wedding. Bride and Co called us on the 19 April asking for suits that were returned on 16 April 2019. Waiting for your response before I take to social media.
