Dr. Richie Achukwu is an Author, Executive & Leadership Coach, Leadership Trainer, Group Coach and a leading Motivational Speaker.
He holds a Doctorate in Leadership & Management from Logos University (USA), a Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Harvard University (USA), a Certificate in Master Coach Training from the International Authority for Professional Coaching & Mentoring (UK) and a BA in Philosophy.
Dr. Richie Achukwu is a member of the society of Neuro-linguistic programming, and a Certified Business Practitioner of Motivational Maps. Alumni of Brendon Burchard’s Expert Academy, a student of Strategic Intervention Coach (an intervention strategy founded by Anthony Robbins and Cloé Madanes), a member of the Global Speakers Federation. He is also a certified PDA Analyst and a MyPDA Coach Analyst with PDA (personal development analysis) International.
Dr. Richie has corporate business experience having previously worked for companies such as TRANEX Courier, DHL International as well as having consulted on Conflict Resolution & Deconfliction for Shell Petroleum in Nigeria.
Dr. Richie has undertaken leadership training interventions for both the Private and Public sectors in South Africa, London, USA, Liberia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Chad, Suriname and Nigeria, Swaziland and Angola. In December 2015, he did some training in Suriname for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Communication & Transport, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Trade & Industry and the Ministry of Regional Development.
He has also done training and coaching for the Ministry of Petroleum in the Republic of Chad, the Small Enterprise Development Agency (in the Department of Small Business, South Africa, the Gauteng Province Department of Infrastructure & Development in South Africa as well as the Richards Bay Minerals (RBM, a subsidiary of Rio Tinto South Africa), The infrastructure development department Gauteng province, among others.
He is a change agent who uses media as a tool to reach a wide range of audiences with life transforming messages. He has hosted a live coaching feature called “The Mind Clinic” on CNBC Africa’s Kicking Doors TV programme. He also hosted a radio show focusing on Leadership on the internet radio station, Dexterity Radio. From time to time he is invited to conduct ‘live coaching sessions’ on South Africa’s leading TV Channel, SABC 1’s Mzansi Insider programme. He also features on TBN Africa every Saturday. His radio show, Soul Lift, which airs in Nigeria, continues to reach thousands of listeners each week.
