When you apply for debt review, we negotiate with your creditors on your behalf for a lower repayment amount. As registered debt counsellors, we are allowed to do this and use the guidelines provided in the National Credit Act to accomplish this. We use a payment distribution agency to distribute the money you pay every month to your creditors.

Our NCR approved Debt Counsellors will assist the consumer in dealing with his/her debt. The Debt Counsellor will deal with all the credit providers the consumer received credit from and calculate a payment agreement which will allow to cover the consumer’s living expenses and distribute the remainder of the money to the creditors.

The Process starts with an application for Debt Review and is done when the consumer receives a Clearance certificate after all debts have been settled. The time of the process may vary and all depends on how much debt the consumer has to repay.
