PhysiosInMotion is a newly established sports and orthopaedic manipulative therapy physiotherapy practice set in Morningside, Johannesburg. To be maximally effective in the treatments of our patients, we pride ourselves on a complex assessment, accurate diagnosis and the use of evidence based treatment. We believe that patients should take an active role in their treatment and rehabilitation.Physiotherapists are first line health care practitioners and a referral from a specialist or doctor is not necessary. We are trained to assess, diagnose and treat. Conditions out of our scope of practice are referred to the relevant specialists if necessary. We also incorporate a multidisciplinary team approach to the treatment of patients with psychologists, doctors, sports coaches, biokintecists and podiatrists as required.
We treat a range of conditions from neck and back pain, sciatica, headaches to sports-related injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation. We also treat chest infections, bronchitis, sinusitis and for our maternity patients - engorged breasts and cracked nipples.
