Had an appt for a haircut at 16:15. I was told that Vanessa, who usually cuts my hair, wants to leave early and will thus not be doing it today. Instead, Karien would do it. I agree. On my way to the salon, exactly 16:15, one receptionist calls, asking me where I am, "because Vanessa wants to leave". (And that after I was told that she would NOT be cutting my hair anyway). I get there-2min later-and tell the receptionist that I don’t appreciate being rushed by her, and that I always have to wait 15 min when I arrive there on time anyway. The other receptionist interrupts and when I tell her that I was not talking to her, she answers:"But I’m now talking to YOU".
Shocking that you treat clients like this? I work with clients every day and never call them EXACTLY on the time asking them where they are. It is clear that, in the meantime, Vanessa indeed did decide to cut my hair but that she was in a hurry. Needless to say, they have lost my business.
