MLP began in 2008 when Mr. MANDLENKOSI MKHONZA decided to form his own company.
He worked for other companies to gain the insight experience.
As part of its growth and altered focus MLP combined with big companies in order to gain experience, subcontracting on numerous residential and commercial projects.

SHEQ is a training wing of MLP but operates independently.
The cut and thrust of subcontracting work prepared the company well for a strategic move to the role of being the main company operator. In 2015 the founder of Mkhonza Logistic & Projects Mr. Mandla Mkhonza registered the company. At present the major part of the work undertaken by MLP is SHEQ Training management, civil works, building works, transportation, electrical installation and maintenance. MLP manage to step through the grading of CIDB through building, civil, electrical installation and maintenance, panel building and wiring.,
