Platinum Accounting was established in April 2010 by Mohamed Simjee and Imtiaz Rajah. The company is primarily an accounting, auditing, taxation and consulting practice.

Mohamed is a qualified chartered accountant and completed his articles with Levitt Kirson Chartered Accountants. In 1998 he joined SAB&T Chartered Accountants as a partner. He was managing partner for the KwaZulu Natal office from 2008 to 2010. Mohamed has had extensive accounting and auditing experience in both the private and public sector.
