Debtcouselling:
We consolidate all your debt payments into one affordable payment that you can afford
Negotiate with all your creditors for lower instalments and interest rates
Get a court order to protect your assets, so they can not repo anything.
If you have vehicle finance or a bond you will NOT loose it if you pay the agreed instalment and not miss any instalments.
You will not be able to enter into any further credit agreements until all debt has been settled.
The period of the debtreview depends on you entirely. For loans and credit cards it is 5 years, but if you can manage to pay of sooner you will be rehabilitated sooner
When all your debt has been settled we issue a clearance certificate and clear your name
Sequestration:
If your total outstanding debt is more than R100,000 we can write of up to 80% of your debt
We get your credit record and send to the attorneys for quotation.
Unfortunately if you have a vehicle that you owe money on or a bond it will be sold to cover all outstanding debt
Say for example the attorney indicates that you have to pay back R50,000 you have 18 months to do this. The amount the attorney indicates that you have to pay back includes all fees also.
This is a High court application so it also includes the advocate fee.
No creditor can demand any additional money from you.
Between 2-4 years you will be able to rehabilitate and be credit active again. The sooner you pay the contribution amount the sooner you will be able to rehabilitate and be credit active again.
