Ms. Mavhungu has has completed a BSc Hons, Project Management, Advance management course and Carbon foot print training.
Ms. Mavhungu joined census project in February 2008 till March 2012, dealing with advance data collection and large dataset. She trained, supervise and monitor field staff across the country. She was involved in reviewing of Census methodology documents and any other related work.
In April 2012, she began her journey of standardizing and adaptation of sound methods for numerical data and dataset improvement. She was responsible for assisting line function managers to realize data methodologies and standards that were hoped to enable them apply soundness in their work.
She was also involved in environmental dataset management, including data collection, calculation, and any stats related activities on environment datasets.
In 2016, she join the SASA for the professionals in the Statistical field. She began to play a role to assist Masters and PhD candidates for their work as they conduct their research. She was helping to analyze their datasets to enable them finish a chapter on Results.
In 2020, she became a shareholder for selling insurance, and therefore needed to market the products to everyone in South Africa, to get them covered in the day that they need assistance.
In 2021, she joined the property industry, after realizing that she was very interested in helping and interacting with people on a regularly. Even though, working with dataset was an opportunity to human interaction, however property rental and selling is more interactive and contributed largely in the country's economy.
