I have offered training in the gambling industry for the past seven years and together with that have provided Motivational Interviewing training to many managers and supervisors.
This therapeutic intervention is a skill used to move people from pre-contemplative to contemplative and action stages of behaviour change. It is also a very effective communication skill which can be used in business and personal relationships.
The results are nothing short of profound and the approach is radical in that it is completely counter-intuitive.
I offer courses in Motivational Interviewing over two days.
I charge R2500 per person, unless there is a group from one organization I am able to negotiate a price for the course.
I have trained at the Universities of Stellenbosch and UCT in this evidence-based approach.
