Telkom in South Africa is normally such a taboo subject. But I got the most amazing service from one of its staff members (so sorry I didn't take down his name) I was helpful and friendly and got me to calm down which is not very easy. He made me not dislike going in store for help. Lets hope my next experience is that good.
To the Business Owner.I applied for a contract phone on the 28th August 2014 and was told that it would take 24 to 48 hours before I will get an answer. It is now the 2nd September and am still waiting. I have also sent and e-mail via Snupit on the 01 September and has not even received and acknowledgement of receipt.I am trying to phone since yesterday the number, 021 5553939 and receive an electronic message that all the consultants are busy each time. Are they busy whole day? Last week, when I went in to apply for the contract, I was the only person there? Is this the kind of service I must look forward to? Surely there must be a person assigned to the phones and attending to e-mail queries daily? This is the basics of running a service department. One star at this moment is too much for this poor service received.
