Not really impressed by the pricing of most of their instruments, it is way too high. There are other musical instrument shops in Pietermaritzburg that are way cheaper in terms of pricing and just as good as Capital Music in quality.
Capital Music is PMBs old favorite and extremely established in the market. Centrally located, it makes things very convenient for patrons as well. They have a wide range of amplifiers, guitars, drum kits, keyboards and music accessories. The main thing that strikes me is the quality of the items - yes you pay a bit extra but it is indeed worth it. I bought my first electric guitar from there exactly 10 years ago and was the best thing I probably ever bought and is my prize possession - still looks brand new to this day.
