Built and owned by Dr Hector Dreyer, the hospital started off in 1996 as a small, single consult clinic catering to the needs of the local community.
After several years of growth and expansion, Dr Peter van Gils joined the team in December 2005, which coincided with a complete revamp of the clinic.
The completely rebuilt clinic now boasts a separate, closed off and fully equiped surgical theatre, diagnostic imaging room, central animal prep area with extensive laboratory working space, two new consult rooms, separate dog and cat wards, isolation ward and admission cages. At the same time all the cages were upgraded to 18 gauge corrosion free stainless steel gates, and fully tiled interiors.
