The service was great for such a reasonable accommodation. Everything at the accommodation is thought out, from it being peaceful and quiet, the cleanliness of the rooms, bathrooms and the whole environment at large. I found the accommodation to be very convenient in terms of transport for it is near the train station and taxi rank and is also near town and other facilities like shopping centres. In terms of socialism, I liked the fact that the staff, would organise events and activities so as to enable the residents to socialize with one another. For the several years I have stayed at the accommodation, I would conclude that it is indeed a pleasant accommodation.

Safe and clean place with a gym to use and washing to be done for a reasonable price once a week! perfect for Interns, students, volunteers and first time travellers to South Africa.

Fantastic team of people providing a safe, caring environment for residents. Great place to stay and meet people from all over the world. Wifi makes study easier and provides opportunity to message family. Management is accessible and friendly. A friendly home away from home.

An average day as a YMCA resident for short term or longer guests would most certainly include a menagerie of surprise promise and opportunity.Colleen Davids makes sure that the process from check in to check out follows a plotted course for staff and residents alike.Service and professionalism is key.The most impressive and precious ingredient present besides what has been mention ,should surely be care respect and friendly servitude shown by the whole YMCA team.Being surrounded by the Ubuntu that we so often talk about but sometimes fail to grasp is in action at the YMCA.A myriad of cultures from all over the globe make for a melting pot of interesting exciting and valuable cultural exchange.The exchange of Rand as currency is a small price to pay in exchange for that currency that fuels the spirit, makes us realize that we share common goals and aspirations as part of the human race and feel connected and valued.
