Theft at this old-age home is completely unacceptable. Those in charge do not take responsibility but instead inform members of family not to buy or give their family members anything that may be considered items of value. While our grandmother has been in their care all her belongings have over the years been stolen or replaced with cheaper facsimiles as was the case with her gold bracelets which are almost impossible to remove from her arm. Apparently the staff their have managed this and along with her items of personal hygiene, clothing, perfume these have disappeared with no effort made to address this problem.
Probably the best Old Age Home in the Western Cape. Love the activites they have for the elderly and constant care. They even have a braai once a week. My mom went to see flowers in Namaqualand, had Bastile Day and went to the George Wheelchair challenge with then. Best by far
