QR Steelworks (Pty) Ltd SPECIALISES in Steel Fabrication, Steel Construction and Steel Engineering.
The Company was Registered in 2014 with Mr. QW Rheeder and Me. CJ Rheeder as the founders and owners of QR Steelworks (Pty) Ltd.
Mr. Rheeder gained experience from 2001 to 2010 at F&K Engineering (Supervisor), Middelwit Engineering (Engineering and Fabrications Manager) and Collisons Engineering (Engineering and Fabrications Manager) until November 2013 when he left.
During December 2013, he started doing work for Econocom 437cc and registered QR Steelworks (Pty)Ltd early in 2014.
At present QR Steelworks (Pty) Ltd employs 80 people and owns 45 vehicles, fully equipped with all mining regulations and work tools .
In June 2017 QR Steelworks moved to a bigger premises and occupies a 3880m² workshop and 120 000 m² total area, equipped with an Engineering Shop , Fabrication shop and Site Division, capable of doing any Fabrication, Construction, Projects, Engineering, Rigging and Scaffolding.
QR Steelworks do work on all the Glencore Mines and Washing Plants within the Middelburg / Witbank / Ogies area, and also work in neighboring countries such as Mozambique and Botswana.
QR Steelworks short term plans for growth is to employ and train more people in the skills needed to keep on growing in the Industry to be one of the strongest Steel Construction, Fabrication and Engineering companies in our area, involving the Community to be part of the growing process.
